We also questioned what would happen if this wasn't done. He went on to further state "If you need to get access to your medical documents, Suze Orman and Legal zoom provide ZERO planning for this. What do I mean? Well, you need a 5^th Critical Document called 'Life-Saving HIPAA Release Document'tm and 24/7 access. What happens on Friday night and you and/or your wife is in an accident. Do you keep all your documents on you? In your car next to the insurance papers? Your attorney's office is not open, and the hospital due to HIPAA Laws can't just give anyone who walks in access to your important documents."

    The quickest and easiest solution is this:

1. Obtain competent advice and planning to create Emergency Estate Planning Documents that will provide loved ones access to these documents.
   
2. Make sure there is a separate form called 'HIPAA Release' document.
   
3. Make sure you have a 24/7 system to allow access to these documents. (you don't want them to just sit in a safe deposit box when you need them most)
